Sprout is probably my very favorite type of Flash game, and it’s a type of game that you can really only find on the web. It’s a short, creative and has its own brand of logic. It’s a similar feel to the Eyemaze games, but in its own sort of way.

Your goal is to take a seed and allow it to change and grow and travel. When the seed sees other plants, it gets the notion of how to grow into that particular plant and the type of plant it can become changes how it can travel through the landscape.

If the title alone for this one doesn’t get you, I don’t know what will. Geeks Unleashed is a pretty fun poke at geek culture and a pretty fun little casual strategic game on top of that. Essentially, you are squaring off with geeks of various kinds to advance your way through a convention hall. And before your (and my!) collective gaming culture rebels at the idea of a game poking fun at you, the game paints a broad picture of geek, as well it should. Sure, you’ve got your D&D geek and your Star Trek geek… but you’ve also got your fashion geek and more. It’s a wide world of geek.

The Several Journeys of Reemus is a top-notch adventure game, all locked up into a handy little flash format. You play Reemus, a fat, balding, swarthy sort of dude and his little blue something or other of a buddy, Liam. Reemus and Liam are on a quest to meet the king and, as they say in the TV business… complications ensue.

Excellent animation, great script and fun puzzles mean that The Several Journeys of Reemus is certainly a quest that you should be excited to embark upon.

Slingo Supreme is Slingo taken to the next level. And what is Slingo, you may ask? Slingo is basically a magical combination of bingo and slot machines. You have a grid of numbers displayed in front of you. With the pull of an in-game lever you rotate a series of tumblers and numbers will pop up… if you can match any of those with the numbers above, you get points.

Slingo manages to combine the fun of simple games of chance, but gives enough bonus features that it feels much more like you’re playing the game than simply watching it be played. The inclusion of powerups and bonuses and mini-games also throws a bit of strategy into the mix, making the game immediately appealing.
